If you are in a mood for some slow, sensual dance where you could simply close your eyes, relax and move to the music full of romantic Caribbean guitars but also some spicy latin rhythm, then Bachata is the dance for you.

Bachata is traditional Dominican Republic music. It emerged from and belongs to a long-standin Pan-Latin American tradition of guitar music. Original Bachata music originated from Cuban bolero and it was very slow romantic music intended for listening. With time the rhythm speed up and people listening to it started experimenting with steps to the music.
